What freedom means to us...

Being able to spend Friday the 3rd at Utah Lake, soaking up the sun, laughing, flying, getting wet, putting our toes in the Utah Lake mud! While Kevin and D.J. work on the V.W. bus at home, getting all oily and dirty, but smiling from ear to ear, cause it is fun to get dirty.

Going to the Riverton Parade.

Then Myself, Morgan, Adam, Rodney, Kylee and Sam left the Silver Lake parking lot at 11:00 p.m. and walked 2.5 miles in the dark with the full moon lighting our way to upper Silver Lake. To sit on a rock for a few minutes, eat a snack, giggle around sleeping hikers in their tents and walk back down in the dark, scare up a moose and a deer. Have the local sherriff approach us in the parking lot looking for bad boys and wondering why in the heck we are hiking at night, under the light of a full moon, only to fall into bed at 3:00 a.m

Then get up at 6:00 a.m. and send Kevin and Jamie off on their bikes to ride the 60 miles to Tooele airport, so we can throw our pilot, Adam, out of an airplane. Cloud cover was a little low when we first got there and it sprinkled a little, but then the O.K. was given and Jamie gives Adam a good luck hug. Adam's tandem instructor, Cliff, is the same one that Morgan had, and he is the best!!!!!. Adam and Cliff came out of the plane rolling. Not just a fall from the sky, but rolling through the air. There were numerous chutes coming down, but Adam was the one Yahooing! Can you see the grin on this pilot's face.

We had some lunch, came home, had a nap and happily went to bed. Without our freedom, could we have spent two days like this?

We jump a big Thank you to all our service men and women, present, past and future!

I am grateful to live in America.

Wow! I am tired thinking about all of that. We do live in a GREAT Country that allows us lots of freedoms. Thank you to my Daddy for the service he gave to our country and Thank you to all those who continue to serve to maintain our freedoms!

You sure know how to take advantage of your freedom. :-) Looks like you had fun.
