Well, well, well! What should we do this weekend?
So many things to choose from and so little time.
So, we split up. Kevin went to Idaho to camp and hunt bears.
Morgan, Jamie and I rode our bikes on Saturday. Morgan and I managed to get 50 miles and Jamie rode 70. It really felt good to get on the bike again and pedal. We rode with some great people and had very little traffic to deal with. It was cool in the morning, but the sun came out and made for an awesome ride.
Then Morgan and I were treated to a night at the Desert Star theater. -Thanks Dena-
And Sunday, a day of rest, it was a day of mind rest.
It was our annual family reunion. The last day of skiing at Alta. And a perfect day for it.
It was cool in the morning, making the snow fast and then warmed up over the day.
A perfect day for opening Baldy Chutes, which my brother Rodney and his son Josh, hiked up to ski.
A perfect day for snow splats!

And a perfect day for avalanche's. We always plan on having a tailgate dinner after skiing. This year, there was a lot of tailgating. A slide came down in the white pine area and closed the road about 3:00. Luckily we were prepared with salads, cookies, chips, salsa, bean dip and drinks. Shelly was bringing up the sloppy joe and waited at the mouth of the canyon until the roads reopened at 6:00 to bring us dinner.

Since we were not able to ski altogether today, the family photo was in the parking lot. A wild bunch we are!!!!!
