I am still waiting for pictures of the wedding to post, but we did have a beautiful day, a beautiful weekend and it took a whole week to recuperate.
The big event has been building since November'ish but our activities started Wednesday night when Tiff and Rob arrived. We meet them at the airport and went straight to Wingers, along with Rob's parents. There have been many phone calls from Wingers letting Tiff and Rob know we were thinking of them so to start their visit with Wingers was a must.
Thursday, after Tiff and Rob had a dentist appointment, they graciously came to the Draper Temple Open house with Grandma and Granpa Leake, Morgan and I. It's a weekend focusing on families! And again, the Draper Temple did not dissapoint us, we left with a feeling of serenity and peace. A great way to prepare for a wedding.
Then start smiling cause the picture taking begins: Our color theme this time was purple. I dragged the family to the White Pine trail head, where we smiled, shivered, giggled, hugged, huddled, slipped and slid around the creek and bridge for the perfect family photo. We also went up to Snowbird and shivered some more for a few more shots. I can't wait to see them! Will our hands be purple, our lips be blue, our goosebumps be visible, our wet behinds show up on film?
Friday, I made a trip to Costco's for a berry run! My list consisted of blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and currents. I was able to find all but the currents. Took them home, washed them up and stashed them away in a cooler for tomorrow.
Saturday. I can't believe it! The day is here! It is surreal! Like planning Christmas! A Big party! A wedding! Are you sure we aren't suppose to have another week of planning? Have we checked everything off the list? Have we covered all the bases? WE DID! It was a marvelous day! Wedding breakfast at Thanksgiving point for close friends and family! It was beautiful! LeAnn (Adam's Mom), planned a beautiful beginning! Then 4 hours of prep time. Boy did we do good there. Didn't have to get up at 4:00 a.m., or stay up all night. Just sit around for 4 hours and chat, curl, powder, iron and relax. All ready for the big show!
We really enjoyed seeing friends and family. Adam and Jamie were glowing! And my feet were screaming in high heels. What was I thinking. Good thing I brought my slippers for after the reception!

The Wedding Day!
We started at 10:00 a.m. with a breakfast at Thanksgiving Point with our immediate family and a few friends. Very relaxing! Got to meet Adams sister and brother from Kentucky, and some of Adam's friends!
Jamie and Adam and parents!
Breakfast entertainment! Thanks girls!
Then we went home to finish the cake. Morgan is a big help cleaning up!
And she reads recipes very well!
Jamie wrote a few thank you cards!
Then we all dressed and went to the ceremony at 5:00 p.m. at LeJardin!
The ceremony included the immediate family, very small, quiet and lovely!
Pictures everyone! (Pictures will be posted later).
And then the reception. Thank you to everyone who came to wish Jamie and Adam well! Thank you for being a part of her special day! I hope you got plenty of eclairs, because I brought a few boxes home! Thankyou for staying to visit in the garden's. Tiffany and Rob enjoyed catching up and seeing friends and family!
They cut the cake at 8:00 p.m., which looked delicious covered in fruit. At 9:00 they threw the bouquet and the garter, then jumped in a limo and left as husband and wife.
We are thrilled to have Adam as a son-in-law and to have his family as part of our family.
Again, thankyou for coming! We are blessed!

Thank you Eichelle and Morgan for the entertaining games you came up with at Jamie's shower. We did her makeup and hair, we blindfolded her and had her feel 4 different legs to find Adam's. Which she got right.
Adam thanks those who thought about him when picking out gifts.
And we thank those of you who came to the showers.
Eichelle and Morgan's shower was an around the clock shower, the lucky ones who shopped for 10:00 p.m. had a lot of fun shopping. She received some very nice gifts and we thank you all.
We snuck a tool shower in when the Leake family had dinner at Grandma's. The limit was $5.00. It is amazing what kind of tools you can get for $5.00.
Then Kathy and Vicky gave her a shower that was an open house, so our guests could come when they had a minute, eat some sandwiches and at least two of Kathy's new dessert creations. Which we would all like to get the recipe to. Again thank you for the very nice gifts that you bestowed upon Jamie.
We are blessed to be loved by you!
