Riding in a bug is an adventure! No radio, no air conditioning (roll down the windows). Rubbing elbows with the driver. When the wind blows, the car goes....sideways and wiggles. Windshield wipers are only for looks. When the rain hits the windshield, the wind just blows the rain right off. (Cool aerodynamics. ) 99% of the cars passing you are bigger.....So riding in a bug is for the adventurous, the brave, the laid back, and you wonder why this was the vehicle of choice for so many hippies (said with reverance).

We had great weather, all the rain was either first thing in the morning or after we got to the hotel for the night. Driving weather was perfect for a bug. Not too hot, not too cold, (cause bug heaters are known for only producing small amounts of heat. But they will warm you right out of the car)
We went to the bug show at the mall on Saturday, Barbeque Saturday night, then the racetrack on Sunday for more bugs on display and watch the very fast cars burn some rubber.
Here is one for Tiffany and a Porche for Rob
We saw some friends from Utah and made a few more friends, but most of what we did was drool, get ideas and wish!
Here are a few to choose from for Morgan ......then, Home again, Home again. Jiggy Jig!

I love, love, love it! I'm glad you guys had a blast. Now go wipe that drool from your chin! :-)
Oh, Dan would have LOVED to go to that show. He went to those often when he was in college. I have to say I agree with Kevin that the bus is by far my favorite. I've always been a sucker for VW buses.
We are coming up for Halloween, so we need to get together again.
Much love,
Bri
I'm with Kevin on this one... That bus is SWEET!!!
...those are so cute!! I want one, I could drive one to do deliveries, you think?
